The Cambridge English YLE Exams
are designed to assess the English language skills of children aged between 5 and 12. They help students understand one’s own English ability, strengthening their English language foundation from an early age. YLE Exams are available at 3 assessment levels: Starters, Movers and Flyers.
Each level of the Cambridge English YLE Exams is divided into 3 parts: Listening, Reading and Writing and Speaking, to accurately assess candidates’ capability in each of these 4 areas. There is no pass or fail for the exams. The number of shields candidates are awarded for each part will be shown on their certificate. Candidates can get a maximum of 5 shields for each part of the exam.
